Evo Swim School

EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Annabelle Green, age 5, has graduated from the Sea Lion class level. She can now display the ability to swim a basic freestyle stroke (otherwise known as “big arms”) while taking a breath on her back. She is prepared for the Porpoise class where she will learn the freestyle side breathing technique and backstroke. On behalf of Annabelle’s instructor, Chelsey and the entire EVO Swim School staff, we say…CONGRATULATIONS!

EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Naomi Goodrum, age 1, has graduated from the Pufferfish (parent/tot) class level. Naomi was given an introduction to the water which included back floats, kicking, and under water passes (not to mention great bonding time with mom and dad). Naomi is ready to advance to the Otter class which is a group lesson of only four children. In this class she will learn how to swim independently in the water. On behalf of Naomi’s instructors, Ben & Bryn, and the entire EVO Swim School staff, we say… CONGRATULATIONS!

EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Andrew Thran, age 11, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. Andrew can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Andrew has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. Advanced Stroke classes swim the length of our pool and receive an introduction to the swim team environment. Here he will learn how to turn on the wall, read a pace clock, and perform new drills with fins on his feet. On behalf of Andrew’s instructor, Jordan, and the entire EVO Swim School staff, we say… CONGRATULATIONS!

EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Micah Porter, age 9, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. Micah can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Micah has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. She can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on her back for a security breath. She will be moving to the Seal class to perfect her kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. On behalf of Haley’s instructor, Kelly, and the entire EVO Swim School staff, we say…CONGRATULATIONS!

EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Issac Bonner, age 7, has graduated from the Seal class level. He is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. Issac can also jump from the side, get a breath on his back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. He will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”.
