Riley Pearce, Age 3 Seal Graduate
EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Riley Pearce, age 3, has graduated from the Seal class level. She is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. Riley can also jump from the side, get a breath on her back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. She will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Riley Dempsey, age 3 has graduated from the Otter class level. She can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on her back for a security breath. She will be moving to the Seal class to perfect her kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Philip Sharpe, age 6, has graduated from the Sea Lion class level. He can now display the ability to swim a basic freestyle stroke (otherwise known as “big arms”) while taking a breath on his back. He is prepared for the Porpoise class where he will learn the freestyle side breathing technique and backstroke. On behalf of Philip’s instructor, John and the entire EVO Swim School staff, we say…CONGRATULATIONS!

He has learned to swim a proper freestyle stroke with the side breathing technique and backstroke. He is now ready for the Dolphin class where he will learn breaststroke and butterfly. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Kyler Tolson, age 5, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. Kyler can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Kyler has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. Advanced Stroke classes swim the length of our pool and receive an introduction to the swim team environment. Here he will learn how to turn on the wall, read a pace clock, and perform new drills with fins on his feet. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Dexter Dressler, age 1, has graduated from the Pufferfish (parent/tot) class level. Dexter was given an introduction to the water which included back floats, kicking, and under water passes (not to mention great bonding time with mom and dad). Dexter is ready to advance to the Otter class which is a group lesson of only four children. In this class he will learn how to swim independently in the water.
