EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Chloe Masters, age 5, has graduated from the Sea Lion class level. She can now display the ability to swim a basic freestyle stroke (otherwise known as “big arms”) while taking a breath on her back. She is prepared for the Porpoise class where she will learn the freestyle side breathing technique and backstroke. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Logan Graham, Age 4, has graduated from the Otter class level. He can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on his back for a security breath. He will be moving to the Seal class to perfect his kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Tommy Winter, age 2, has graduated from the Pufferfish (parent/tot) class level. Tommy was given an introduction to the water which included back floats, kicking, and under water passes (not to mention great bonding time with mom and dad). Tommy is ready to advance to the Otter class which is a group lesson of only four children. In this class he will learn how to swim independently in the water. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Miles Knudsen, Age 3, has graduated from the Seal class level. he is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. He can also jump from the side, get a breath on his back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. They will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”. Angela can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Angela has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class.
