EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Breann McRae, age 5 has graduated from the Otter class level. She can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on her backs for a security breath. She will be moving to the Seal class to perfect her kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Evan Dean, age 1, has graduated from the Pufferfish (parent/tot) class level. Evan was given an introduction to the water which included back floats, kicking, and under water passes (not to mention great bonding time with mom and dad). Evan is ready to advance to the Otter class which is a group lesson of only four children. In this class he will learn how to swim independently in the water. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Alyssea Immonen, age 8, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. Alyssea can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Alyssea has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. Advanced Stroke classes swim the length of our pool and receive an introduction to the swim team environment. Here she will learn how to turn on the wall, read a pace clock, and perform new drills with fins on her feet. He has learned to swim a proper freestyle stroke with the side breathing technique and backstroke. He is now ready for the Dolphin class where he will learn breaststroke and butterfly.
