EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Sienna Mongiovi, age 5, has graduated from the Porpoise class level. She has learned to swim a proper freestyle stroke with the side breathing technique and backstroke. She is now ready for the Dolphin class where she will learn breaststroke and butterfly. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Gage Gollinar, age 1, has graduated from the Pufferfish (parent/tot) class level. Gage was given an introduction to the water which included back floats, kicking, and under water passes (not to mention great bonding time with mom and dad). Gage is ready to advance to the Otter class which is a group lesson of only four children. In this class he will learn how to swim independently in the water. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Madison Killion, age 5, has graduated from the Seal class level. She is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. Madison can also jump from the side, get a breath on her back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. She will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Sophia Spurlock, age 3 has graduated from the Otter class level. She can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on her back for a security breath. She will be moving to the Seal class to perfect her kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Shaan Bhullar, age 11, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. Shaan can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Shaan has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. Advanced Stroke classes swim the length of our pool and receive an introduction to the swim team environment. Here he will learn how to turn on the wall, read a pace clock, and perform new drills with fins on his feet.
