EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Isaac Tunder Kruger, age 5 has graduated from the Seal class level. He is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. Isaac can also jump from the side, get a breath on his back, and return to the side of the pool as a habit of safety. He will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Gracelyn Provost, age 2, has graduated from the Pufferfish (parent/tot) class level. Gracelyn was given an introduction to the water which included back floats, kicking, songs, and under water passes (not to mention great bonding time with mom and dad). Gracelyn is ready to advance to the Otter class which is a group lesson of only three children. In this class she will learn how to swim independently in the water. He can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on his back for a security breath. He will be moving to the Seal class to perfect his kicking skills with improved breath control. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Nicholas Schlimm, age 12, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. Nicholas can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Nicholas has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. Advanced Stroke classes swim the length of our pool and receive an introduction to a swim team environment. Here he will learn how to turn on the wall, read a pace clock, and perform new drills with fins on his feet.
