EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Saigo Johnson, age 7, has graduated from the Sea Lion class level. He can now display the ability to swim a basic freestyle stroke (otherwise known as “big arms”) while taking a breath on his back. He is prepared for the Porpoise class where he will learn the freestyle side breathing technique and backstroke. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Jada Espiniza, Age 4 has graduated from the Otter class level. She can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on her back for a security breath. She will be moving to the Seal class to perfect her kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Caleb Hunt, age 6, has graduated from the Seal class level. He is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. Caleb can also jump from the side, get a breath on his back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. He will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Asher Wesolowski, age 2, has graduated from the Pufferfish (parent/tot) class level. Asher was given an introduction to the water which included back floats, kicking, and under water passes (not to mention great bonding time with mom and dad). Asher is ready to advance to the Otter class which is a group lesson of only four children. In this class he will learn how to swim independently in the water.
