Maya Mehan Age 9 Dolphin Graduate
EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Maya Mehan, age 9, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. Maya can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Maya has the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. Advanced Stroke classes swim the length of our pool and receive an introduction to the swim team environment. Here she will learn how to turn on the wall, read a pace clock, and perform new drills with fins on her feet. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Nathan Fletcher, age 9, has graduated from the Porpoise class level. He has learned to swim a proper freestyle stroke with the side breathing technique and backstroke. He is now ready for the Dolphin class where he will learn breaststroke and butterfly. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Owen Sixkiller, age 4, has graduated from the Seal class level. He is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. Owen can also jump from the side, get a breath on his back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. He will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Rowan Collins, age 4 has graduated from the Otter class level. She can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on her back for a security breath. She will be moving to the Seal class to perfect her kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Shay Loth, age 4, has graduated from the Sea Lion class level. She can now display the ability to swim a basic freestyle stroke (otherwise known as “big arms”) while taking a breath on her back. She is prepared for the Porpoise class where she will learn the freestyle side breathing technique and backstroke. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Tisya Panchall, age 6, has graduated from the Seal class level. She is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control.
